A couple of weeks ago, I had the great honor of being invited to discuss about music with renowned philosopher and writer, Dr. Klitos Ioannides (pictured above, center) on CyBC Radio.
Dr. Ioannides is one of Cyprus's leading intellectuals, having worked as a teacher, lecturer and researcher. He has published poetry, essays, studies, monographs and many books on Oral History. He has written and published the History of Contemporary Cypriot Literature and numerous books on Orthodoxy and Philosophy. He is a regular contributor to newspapers, magazines, radio and television.
During our 75 minute talk, I had the opportunity to talk about my works and to share my personal philosophy on music, the arts, and life in general. An excerpt of my work Elefsis, for Symphony Orchestra (2016), was also broadcasted.
I would like to thank Dr. Ioannides, the CyBC and Mr. Costas Michaelides, the show's producer, for inviting me on their show. The discussion [in Greek] was aired live on CyBC Radio 1 (97,2 FM) on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 and can be accessed below.
