A couple of years ago, I collaborated with Duetto-Barocco: a wonderful group from Cyprus, comprised of Theodoros Krasides playing Flute and Evgenia Karapataki playing the Cello. I had arranged for them a collection of popular tunes by some of the greatest Greek composers and songwriters. I catalogued this work as "Popular Counterpoint - A Collection of Greek Popular Songs Recomposed for Flute and Violoncello"
This project inspired Romos Kotsonis, an award-winning photographer from Cyprus, who decided to create a music video of the group playing my arrangement of "White Dove" by composer Manos Hadjidakis.
The video, which showcases the natural beauty of the island of Cyprus, was released earlier today. You can view the video below.
