The National Radio Symphony Orchestra of Greece (ERT) records Aris's "Chiaroscuro"

Updated: Dec 31, 2018

I am very pleased to announce that I have just returned from Athens, where I had the distinguished honor of having my latest symphonic work, Chiaroscuro, recorded by the National Radio Symphony Orchestra of Greece (ERT). The recording took place on Thursday, September 21st, and Friday, September 22nd at the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) studios in Athens. The orchestra was masterfully conducted by Maestro Manolis Lorentzos and the recording of Chiaroscuro will be aired from ERT Radio 3 during the season.

I would like to thank all the orchestra musicians, and Maestro Lorentzos in particular, for their time and hard work. I would also like to thank the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) for believing in my work and for presenting me with this wonderful opportunity.

The National Radio Symphony Orchestra of Greece (ERT) was founded in 1938 and regularly performs concerts throughout Greece, as well as live radio and T.V. broadcasts. During its long history it has recorded new works by various Greek and foreign composers. Its repertoire is very diverse ranging from classical to pops.
